Dipl.-Interpreter Anastasia Ostretsova has been working as a freelance conference interpreter and translator since 2002 in the language combinations German, Russian and English for ministries, public authorities and government offices at the federal, regional and local level, as well as for corporations, businesses, associations, chambers of commerce and other organisations.

Her native language is Russian. After more than 25 years in Germany, she has a native-level command of German as an active working language and speaks English at the C1 level. Following her studies in languages at Moscow State Pedagogical University (graduating in 1998), her degree in interpreting at Leipzig University (graduating in 2009) and several stays abroad in English-speaking countries, Anastasia Ostretsova provides simultaneous and consecutive interpretation for events in the fields of politics, business, technology and culture.

Her areas of specialisation include occupational health and safety, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, agriculture, food processing, energy generation, aerospace, banking, environmental protection, transport, logistics, construction, pharmacology, marketing, and the renovation and restoration of historic buildings.

Anastasia Ostretsova is a qualified employment law specialist, certified quality auditor and quality management representative, as well as a certified data protection officer, in each case holding a TÜV Rheinland-certified qualification. She is also a GMP specialist. For many years, she has taught language and interpretation courses covering a range of interpreting skills, including note-taking techniques, telephone interpreting and professional ethics for interpreters.
